Mission Statement
In prayerful dependence on God, whom we seek to glorify, according to His word, we proclaim Jesus at Curtin by:
- Connecting with Christians at Uni
- Reaching out with the good news of Jesus
- Building up through teaching, training, and encouraging
- Sending out Christians to serve Jesus in all of life
Connecting
Being a Christian at Uni can be challenging. The culture we live in today rejects God in many ways, and it can be difficult to stand firm as a Christian. We want to be a group that supports and grows Christians in their walk with Jesus while at Uni. So that when they graduate, they will have grown in their faith.
Reaching Out
There are thousands of students at Curtin University. Most of them do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. We want to reach those people with the good news that Jesus died and rose again, so they can have a restored relationship with God and live forever with him.
Building Up
A healthy Christian faith should be an active one. While at Uni, we want to help teach and train Christians to develop and deepen their understanding of the Bible. We also want to encourage them to keep walking faithfully with Jesus all the days of their lives.
Sending Out
Everyone's time at Uni comes to an end at some point. Our mission is ultimately to help prepare Christian students for life after Uni. We want them to continue walking with Jesus as they enter the workforce and beyond. We want them to serve Jesus not only at Uni but in all of life.
